CC Nurseries Group is pleased to announce the planned opening of a tenth setting in 2022, following a year of successful growth.

The Hyde Nursery in Barnet will open in summer 2022 and follows the successful opening of Marston Day Nursery in Bedfordshire in August 2020, Wendover Day Nursery in Aylesbury in 2021, as well as the acquisition of Peek-a-boo Nursery School in Edinburgh.

The Nursery in Barnet will open in the historic Hyde Building on Church Passage, which was originally a “literary institute and reading rooms” created for the parishioners of Chipping Barnet, and has since been a public library as well as an art and design studio for a local FE college.

The protected building offers light and airy rooms, and maintains many of the building’s original features, from vaulted ceilings to large windows and an impressive façade.

As well as showcasing these original features, plans for the building also include the introduction of a garden room with natural resources, and wraparound outdoor spaces, giving children the benefit of free-flow environments and fresh air. The building is also in walking distance to nearby King George’s Fields.
